Our Initiatives
EFL’s CSR Overview: Meeta
Meeta, meaning the true friend, is our yet another important CSR project which we are very proud of! Meeta is our humble effort to build social entrepreneurship by financially supporting sanitary products manufacturing to provide a clean, cost effective and ecofriendly sanitary product alternative to socio-economically backward women along with providing employment to some women from same section of society working on the project.
Objectives:
- To increase awareness among adolescent girls on menstrual hygiene, build Self-esteem, and empower girls for greater socialization
- To increase access to and use of high quality sanitary napkins by adolescent girls in rural areas
- To ensure safe disposal of sanitary napkins in an environment friendly manner.
Company has partnered with two NGOs namely Seva Sahayog in Pune-Maharashtra and EARTH in North East Maharashtra to run sanitary napkin manufacturing, circulating product, creating awareness and so on.
EFL’s CSR Overview: Meeta-Earth
NGO EARTH who is active in Javati tehsil of Chandrapur district Maharashtra. With the financial support given by EFL, EARTH has been running sanitary pad making plant, which produce revolutionary ecofriendly reusable pads serving the tribal community.
EFL’s CSR Overview: Meeta-Seva Sahayog
Seva Sahayog has successfully started a sanitary pad-manufacturing unit at Pune. The volunteers from this NGO are conducting menstrual health and cleanliness awareness workshops for young women in and around Pune district.
